This is number 9 in my series of articles listing places to take kids when you have them for the day. Whether you’re divorced, separated or just need a place to go, I hope these articles can give you the options you need to do kid friendly things in a not-so-kid-friendly city like Naples, Florida. I’m not just a lawyer, I’m also a dad.
Sometimes you don’t need to take the kids to a big memory-making event. Sometimes you just need to get out of the house for a few hours. If that’s the case, I’d strongly recommend going to Whiz Kids Play Zone and Party Place.
Located on the corner of Pine Ridge and the Tamiami Trial (Route 41), Whiz Kids is the most centrally located play place in Naples, Florida.
Whiz Kids hours are:
- Monday, Wednesday and Saturday
9:30a.m. – 2:30p.m. - Tuesday and Thursday
10:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. - Friday
10:00a.m. – 7:00p.m. - Sunday Private Events Only.
The pricing for drop in visits is as follows.
$12 – one visit*
$8 – any additional siblings
$45 – five visit punch card
A lot of people in move to Naples to enjoy the family-friendly environment and then work from home in Naples. If you are in this position and have young kids, I would strongly advise you to purchase a membership at Whiz Kids. It will allow you to keep your kids active, allow you to work and all at a reasonable price.

You cannot beat these prices for a regular place to take your children for a few hours and work simultaneously. I’m shocked that Whiz Kids hasn’t turned into a co-working office. But, again, you have to watch your kids while you’re there.
With 4000 square feet of indoor playground, your kids can bounce in indoor bounce houses, play house, put on a puppet show, and play with a lot of age-appropriate toys for a few hours. Especially during Naples boiling summers you can find respite in this cool yet active atmosphere.
Everyone must take off their shoes so make sure that everyone (including parents) is wearing socks.
Snacks and water are available for purchase at reasonable prices.
Meanwhile, they have free wifi and a few comfortable couches so the adults can actually get some work done while the kids play. You may see me here working on a case while watching my youngest.
You cannot just check out and let your kids run wild, though. You are required to supervise them. There are three rooms in the indoor play place so you may have to move around and follow your children.
There is a special toddler area for 0-2 year olds where big kids are encouraged to play elsewhere. Realistically, a five to seven is probably the age limit for kids here depending on the child.
For the older kids, Whiz Kids has several programs like tutoring, CPR classes and Karate.
Whiz Kids is obviously a perfect party atmosphere for a young kid’s birthday party. Their party packages very greatly $ 175 to $ 675 depending on the number of children attending and the amenities you want available to the party.
Whiz Kids has a bevy of different events and summer camps during the long, hot, school-less Naples summers. All of the camps have an emphasis on physical activities which is definitely needed during the Naples summer. Super Hero Week, Nerf Wars, Belt Ranking and American Ninja Warrior are all themes of available camps.
On some days, an ice cream truck will be scheduled to visit Whiz Kids
After Whiz Kids, you may want to take the kids to the Barnes And Noble bookstore kitty-corner to Whiz Kids. Barnes and Noble is also a kid-friendly atmosphere.
